Aims of the Community Survey
 
- To identify current behavioural patterns
- To identify areas of environmental interest
- To identify community needs
 
This information will then be used to shape the project: to influence the direction and focus of the project, and to work with residents to make the Hamptons an even nicer place to live.
 
Where community needs identified are beyond the scope of the project, this information will be fed onto to project partners, who include O&H Hampton and Peterborough City Council.

Sustainable Living Bags
 
As a thank you for completing our survey, residents are presented with a free Sustainable Living Bag. As well as information on environmental issues (including tips on how to reduce your energy and water bills, and on how to encourage wildlife into your garden), the pack contains:
 
- 2 energy efficient light bulbs
- A Fat Trap and wild bird seed
- A sample of eco-friendly Ecover washing up liquid and washing   powder
- A Sustainable Living wristband
- Colouring pencils from managed woodlands
- A recycled mouse mat
- A reusable jute shopping bag and a cloth bag
- Vegetable seeds
- Vouchers for Notcutts Garden Centre, River Nene Organic Vegetables   and Bettaland Organic Compost
- A Community Directory of local clubs and activities
